Jelly Roll Guests Hosts 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' And Shows Off His Weight Loss While Singing About 'Mean Tweets'

On July 16th, the "Save Me" singer stunned his fanbase and late-night television viewers across the country when he did a fabulous job at guest-hosting the famous show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Not only is he a talented vocalist, but he also has some great hosting abilities, and had the audience in the palm of his hand during his opening monologue and interviews.

For part of his time on the show, Jelly Roll, whose full name is Jason Bradley DeFord, did his own rendition of one of the series' most famous skits, "Mean Tweets," where celebrities recite mean X (formerly Twitter) posts about themselves. Typically, the stars sit and recite the tweets in a serious tone, but, being a musician, Jason decided to incorporate the posts about him into a song. Some of the "lyrics" included posts like, "Jelly Roll is an embarrassment to society."

After the clip of him singing the mean tweets went viral on social media, the award-winning singer gained a lot of new fans, after internet users started posting comments about how much they loved him as a host. Many of them also couldn't help but point out how great and slimmed down he's looking.

In social media posts, the "Son Of A Sinner" singer has documented his health progress by sharing videos of meals his on-the-road chef crafted for him, clips of him participating in races, jumping into cold plunges, and more. Since the beginning of his new chapter, he's lost nearly 200 pounds. He has told several media personalities, including Jimmy Kimmel, that he has big plans for when he loses 100 more, including skydiving.

So, when the internet saw footage of him singing about mean tweets, they couldn't help but comment on how awesome he looks, along with how great a guest host he was.

"He looks fabulous!" commented a YouTube user under the viral video.
