Jennifer Aniston Compares Working On 'The Morning Show' To Childbirth
In an interview with Glamour, Aniston opened up about the filming schedule, and how during her break between seasons, she often forgets how grueling it is to play her character, Alex Levy.
"Every year since I finished the first season, I was like, 'Well, that's it—I'm dead. That just killed me. And then you forget. I kind of compare it to what childbirth must be like when my friends are like, 'You just kind of forget what it was like, and then next thing you know you're knocked up again.'"
Aniston has been open about her struggles with infertility and has never had biological children despite attempts at conceiving through IVF in her younger years.
Social Media Reactions
Many fans took offense with Aniston's statement, with some pointing out that she's never had children and therefore couldn't know what childbirth would be like, and others simply saying it's ridiculous to compare a cushy acting job that earns her $2M per episode.
"I love Jen but this is one of the most out of touch things she's ever said," one person wrote on TikTok.
"Childbirth? Really?" another person wrote. "You know that you're an a actress right?"
"Please touch some grass," chimed in another.
"I know all her friends with children are rolling their eyes right now," a final user posted.
