Jennifer Aniston 'Values Moving Her Body'
The Murder Mystery 2 actress's longtime personal trainer, Dani Coleman – who is also head coach at Pvolve – has once again opened up about what one of her most famous clients does in the gym to maintain her ageless appearance at 56, soon to be 57. It doesn't sound easy, but judging by her super-sculpted physique, it's clearly paying off!
Speaking to the Daily Mail about how the Morning Show star doesn't let her busy filming schedule get in the way of staying active, Coleman explained that consistency really is key – and doing something is always better than nothing!
"No matter how much time or where Jen's schedule takes her, she always values moving her body," Coleman explained. "She understands that doing something each day, even if it's small, is better than nothing, which is why she loves Pvolve because we have workouts of all lengths and formats."
"She loves a challenging workout. The only things that outshine her work ethic in our workouts are her humor and humility," Coleman gushed, while also calling her client a "super woman" – no arguments there!
What Is Jennifer Aniston's Workout Routine?
Coleman and the LolaVie mogul have been training together since 2020, and the personal trainer says their very first session is still etched in her memory!
"I'll never forget our first session – we did a full-body workout using our p.band, p.ball, and gliders. At Pvolve, no two workouts are ever the same, and I love programming her workouts, providing the playlist, and finding new ways to challenge her," she recalled.
Since then, their routine has evolved into a structured but varied routine that keeps things fresh while focusing on building strength – which Coleman believes is more important than ever given Aniston's age!
"Jen and I train utilizing our Signature formats: Strength & Sculpt, Sculpt & Burn, and Progressive Weight Training," she went on, adding: "We do full-body workouts and love to frequent our p.band, p.3 trainer, p.ball, and gliders, and we mix in heavy dumbbells with a focus on building lean muscle mass."
The Importance Of Weight Training For Women In Their Fifties
Weight training has become more important than ever for the Horrible Bosses star – and for women in their fifties and beyond. According to Coleman, strength training helps women stay strong, mobile, and independent, while also giving their metabolism a much-needed boost.
"One thing we stress at Pvolve is how important weight training is in your fifties to help build lean muscle mass and boost metabolic rates, and to keep you moving long-term and keeping your autonomy as you age. But it's also worth stressing that working out looks different at each phase of your life," Coleman previously explained, adding that adapting workouts to different life stages is key.
"So in your fifties it's going to look different to how you worked out in your forties and in your thirties and that's something we tap into specifically when we think about women's wellness and the different life cycles, such as perimenopause and menopause."
