Amid ongoing tension between Brooklyn Beckham and his family, Victoria Beckham appeared completely unfazed—and effortlessly chic—as she stepped out in Paris to receive a prestigious fashion honor alongside her loved ones.

The designer was awarded the title of Chevalière (Knight) de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture, recognizing her lasting impact on the fashion industry. The intimate ceremony took place on January 26 during Paris Fashion Week, where Victoria was celebrated for her “meticulous, almost architectural” design approach and influential career. The honor was presented by French Minister of Culture Rachida Dati, with Victoria’s husband, David Beckham, and their children proudly in attendance.

For the occasion, the mother of four stepped out in a refined, floor-length black gown from her own label. The sleek jersey dress featured a high neckline and long sleeves, elevated by subtle ruched cutouts along the hips and sleeves. A dramatic thigh-high slit added a modern edge to the otherwise minimalist silhouette.

The Spice Girls singer completed the look with black suede peep-toe mules and a glossy crocodile-embossed Hermès Kelly top-handle bag, keeping the ensemble effortlessly polished and chic.

On Instagram she captioned her post, "I’m so honoured to be named a Chevalière de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture. I have always deeply admired the French aesthetic and the seriousness with which it treats fashion: as a form of art. So to be recognised here and embraced in this way, is a profound privilege — one that reflects decades of commitment and dedication. My sincere thanks to the French Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati for this honour. Thank you also to business partners who believed in me, my family, and especially David — my husband, and original investor. I couldn’t be more grateful, you are my everything xx."

She was joined at the ceremony by her husband, their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, as well as Romeo and Cruz’s girlfriends.

Her eldest son, Brooklyn, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were notably absent amid reported family tensions. In January 2026, Brooklyn confirmed his estrangement from David and Victoria Beckham, stating on Instagram that he has "no desire to reconcile."

Brooklyn Beckham Lashes Out Against His Parents On Instagram

He accused his parents of prioritizing "Brand Beckham" over family, sabotaging his 2022 wedding to Nicola, manipulating media narratives, and pressuring him to sign away rights to his name.

The 26-year-old alleged that his mother "hijacked" their first dance on the wedding day and created drama surrounding the wedding dress, according to The New York Times. He described the situation as "no contact" or "going no contact," intended to stop what he called the alleged toxic cycle.

The soccer superstar and Victoria have not directly responded to these specific claims. The tension reportedly began around the wedding, when it was rumored that Nicola, 31, refused to wear a dress designed by her mother-in-law. In the Instagram Stories post from last week, Brooklyn wrote an extensive statement detailing the conflicts he has faced, declaring, “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
