Jennifer Lawrence Is Photographed At The San Sebastián Film Festival
Last weekend, the Oscar winner stepped out for the first time in a while since giving birth to her second child a few months ago. She attended the San Sebastián film festival in Spain, one of the major film-related events for upcoming movies.
For the festivities, the esteemed actress walked red carpets and answered press questions about her upcoming film, Die, My Love, which is a dark-comedy drama that's slated to be released in theaters starting in November. The film follows a mother, played by Jennifer, who faces psychosis and post-partum depression in a rural area. It also stars Robert Pattinson and has fans very excited for its theatrical release.
At the film festival, Jennifer posed for photo ops in different outfits, including a long, Army-green cutout dress and short-sleeved, silky black blouse and matching pants with a dramatic cape. While her style caught people's attention, as per usual, so did her face, as fans noticed she was looking different.
Fans React To Jennifer's Film Festival Appearance On Social Media
Like most of her public appearances, when the Hunger Games icon attends such a prestigious event, pictures of her on social media spread like wildfire. However, this time around, she got a different kind of attention, as some people felt it looked like she had plastic surgery or some kind of other cosmetic treatment in her face.
The comments on platforms like Instagram referred to her seemingly fuller cheeks and lips, and some people even accused her of "ruining" her natural beauty.
"Someone had work done on their face," commented a user, as another wrote that she looked "AI-generated."
"She was too young to mess with her face!" wrote a fan. "Please just leave it alone."
"Did she have a face transplant?" asked a user. "She looks like someone else."
"So much filler and Botox," commented a user.
Although Jennifer hasn't made any comments about recent treatments, the internet is definitely sensing something is up, and they're not crazy about it.
