Jennifer Lopez has been showing ex-husband Ben Affleck what he’s been missing in a variety of jaw-dropping revenge outfits over the past year.
And while she wasn’t flashing quite as much flesh as usual, the multihyphenate still managed to turn heads – and possibly twist the knife – during what the Daily Mail described as an “awkward” run-in with her ex and his ex at their kids’ school play on Friday, December 12th. The Gone Girl actor, 53, and the Kiss of the Spider Woman star, 56, both attended the performance which featured their respective children – Fin, 16, whom Affleck shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 53, and Emme, 17, whom Lopez shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 57.
According to reports, the former couple appeared to keep their distance during the event; but given that bumping into each other was always a possibility, it's not hard to see why the "I'm Real" hitmaker wanted to make sure she stood out. She opted for a tailored blazer layered over a figure-hugging black dress with a plunging neckline (which some people on social media thought looked more like a bra!) and a daring side slit, so we think it was mission accomplished!
There have been conflicting reports about where the exes stand, with some claiming Lopez hopes for a Bennifer 3.0 reunion. However, others suggest the opposite, noting that she's even covered up the tattoo she once dedicated to Affleck. While Samuel was reportedly spotted chatting with his former stepmom at one point during the evening, Lopez and Affleck reportedly didn't say a word to – or even acknowledge – each other. Ouch!

Many people on social media deemed the JLo Beauty mogul's outfit extremely inappropriate for a kids' school event. "Why would J-Lo wear an open/low cut jacket showing her black bra to a kids play?" asked one person on Instagram.
"I came to say the same! Let the kids have their moment without @jlo calling for attention!" exclaimed a second, followed by the eye rolling emoji.
"J-Lo needs to move on now. That's desperate energy right there," slammed a third, as a fourth thought: "J-Lo with alternate motives… her outfit says it all."
Others didn't think the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" singer was the problem. "Ben always looks so stressed out. I'm convinced that he is in fact, the stress," speculated a fifth. "Ben always... ALWAYS looks miserable," observed a sixth, as a seventh quipped: "This story calls for that Ben Affleck annoyed & smoking a cigarette meme."
