Jessica Biel Locks In During Workout for 'The Better Sister' Role
Her workouts ranged from seated pull-ups and single-arm lunges to inverted rows that ended in a deep squat. Fans were especially stunned to see Biel hoist her entire body weight while gripping a pair of rings for those seated pull-ups.
In the caption, the wife of Justin Timberlake wrote, “The arm and back workout everyone asked for is finally here! Thank you to my friend and amazing trainer @benbrunotraining for all of the help leading up to The Better Sister but also for my everyday life. At the link in @benbrunotraining’s bio, you can get his app to do these workouts too!”
Her trainer did a voiceover for the reel and mentioned, “In any given workout, she’ll do an exercise for the back, which mostly works the biceps. One exercise for shoulders, one exercise for triceps, plus some other moves for legs and abs sprinkled in.
He continued, “It’s also important to remember that it’s impossible to maintain peak physical condition all the time, and the super toned physique that you see on screen isn’t maintainable all year round. Jess knows that, so she spends most of the year working out consistently, but not crazy by any means.”
Social Media Reacts
The post quickly went viral over how easy the mother of two made the workouts look.
“She is a beast. Those exercises are hard AF,” said one fan. A second user wrote, “She lifted her entire body weight from sitting.” A third said, “Great example that it is not necessary to lift heavy weight to look strong and feel strong.” A fourth said, “She’s making this look so easy…this stuff is hard!” A fifth noted, “Diet has a lot to do with her physique.” Someone else said, "These are insane moves."
Back in July, the 7th Heaven actress revealed that the physical shape she achieved for the show isn’t maintainable unless you live and breathe strict nutrition and workouts.
“That peak shape in the show is not maintainable unless you are living the strictest, most rigid lifestyle with your nutrition and fitness, which I cannot do,” she noted in a TikTok post at the time.
“I’m currently back on my plan to get a little bit back towards that shape. My body is not 20 years old anymore, you know, so I’m adjusting my workout to what I need to do,” she continued. “You gotta build muscle. So that’s a key part of my particular program. And a ton of flexibility. Let’s get older and stronger together.”
