Kanye West Says His Kids Have Been 'Taken Away' From Him On Social Media
The rapper's untrue statement appeared alongside similar tweets that were in relation to fighting ex-wife Kim Kardashian, 44, for custody of his four children, which also includes 11-year-old daughter North.
Also on April 22nd, West asked his followers: "Why are you all watching and letting Kim take my kids from me in real time?" In another tweet that same day, he said: "I have to suppress the fact that my kids have been taken from me and everyone just watches." Another one of his many tweets that day read: "I don't need to just 'SEE' my kids I need to raise them I'm a good dad I'm a great father to have."
The following day, the "Heartless" rapper wrote: "I'm speaking to 4 lawyers a day until I find a lawyer who will make sure my rights to my children are realized."
Insider Confirms He Can See His Kids 'Anytime He Wants' And There Are Currently 'No Limitations'
Although the "Donda" rapper's four children live with their mom in California, TMZ claimed an insider confirmed that he has "full control" to see them whenever he wants. And he has seemingly chosen not to!
According to reports, the Yeezy designer has been in California for most of this year, but didn't ask to see Saint, Chicago, or Psalm until a week before leaving. He did reportedly see daughter North a few times, though.
According to The Sun, a source close to Kim said: "Kanye has been in L.A. recently for a few months and didn't ask to see the kids aside from North until a week before he was leaving again." The source added: "Kanye can see the kids anytime he wants, there are no limitations."
The Skims founder and the rapper agreed to share joint physical and legal custody of their four children when they settled their divorce in 2022, but the Kardashians star has reportedly considered changing this on several occasions due to West's controversial and oftentimes troubling behavior.
Kim Kardashian Is 'Considering' Filing For Sole Custody
Over the past few months, there have been several reports claiming that the Kardashians star is considering a new custody battle.
This comes after insiders claimed that she is "pretty much a single mom" these days, since her ex-husband is "not around much" for their children. An insider reportedly told Us Weekly that Kim is contemplating filing for "full custody" of the four children due to her ex-husband's erratic behavior, adding: "She is in a very tough position when she really has to co-parent with him."
