Kate Middleton's Remembrance Day 2025 Outfit
For the solemn occasion, the Princess of Wales re-wore her chic black Catherine Walker 'Evie' coat dress, which she had worn on Remembrance Sunday back in 2022.
This time round, she teamed it with a navy blue blouse with a pie-crust collar and added a black lace jabot at the neckline. She also swapped the wide-brimmed hat she wore three years ago with a sculptural Lock&Co 'Belvedere Percher' hat.
The mom-of-three accessorized with the late Princess Diana's Collingwood pearl earrings, which were gifted to her when she married the then Prince Charles in 1981, and a Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Pilot's Wing gold FAA sweetheart brooch, as well as a silk poppy pin by Izzy Alger for Lock & Co. Hatters.
She wore her lighter brunette locks in a silky slightly pulled back down do with soft waves, while her makeup consisted of her signature smoky eyes, pink blush, and natural lips.
The Internet Is Divided
"I'm sorry but this look is way too matronly," thought one fan on a Vogue Instagram post. They added: "The collar is old looking and the length of the dress is all wrong! I think she's absolutely stunning but she's young and should be dressing more age appropriate. I'm sure my opinion will be unpopular but that's why it's an opinion."
"I don't get why she looks so much older than her age and wears really old granny clothing," echoed a second, as a third concurred: "She dresses like a granny." "Is she 60?" quipped a fourth, as a fifth slammed: "I'm not here for the neck doilies."
But of course, not everyone felt the same way! "So elegant as always," praised a sixth fan, followed by three red heart emojis.
"Always beautiful and perfectly dressed!" exclaimed a seventh, as an eighth said she was "as ever the epitome of class." "Beautiful as always," gushed a ninth, in agreement, as a tenth concluded: "Lovely. True royalty class!"
