On Monday, May 5th, the princess attended an event honoring VE Day, or Victory in Europe Day, alongside her husband and children in London near the Queen Victoria Memorial outside Buckingham Palace. VE Day is a celebration that commemorates the end of the Second World War in Europe.
This year marks 80 years since the historical event, and prominent members of the royal family, including King Charles III, watched this year's festivities, which included a military procession and flypast by the Royal Air Force.
For the springtime weather, Kate wore an eye-catching, long magenta coatdress that fell just above her ankles. Keeping her outfit cohesive, she paired it with a matching magenta fascinator and tan pumps. Her signature dark brown hair was left down and tucked behind her ears, accentuating her diamond jewelry, which had ruby jewels in the middle.
