Beyoncé isn’t the only superstar to embark on her new tour, as Katy Perry‘s highly-anticipated Lifetimes tour has also just begun!
While Beyoncé was slammed before her tour even began due to the extortionate ticket prices, the 40-year-old “Roar” hitmaker started facing criticism from people who attended her show – and from those who watched clips from it – due to her “truly awful,” to quote one X user, dance moves.

Katy Perry Slammed For Her Dance Moves On ‘Lifetimes’ Tour
The “Harleys in Hawaii” singer has already been under scrutiny for her recent and widely criticized “obnoxious” trip to space; and now the choreography from her new tour has become another lightning rod for social media mockery.
The mom-of-one’s tour kicked off in Mexico City earlier this week, and it didn’t take long for footage to make the rounds online. In one now viral TikTok video, she can be seen performing some stiff, robot-reminiscent dance moves to her song “Part of Me,” while wearing a futuristic cone bra, high-waisted bottoms, and thigh-high boots.
The former American Idol judge can then be seen dramatically dropping to the floor and raising one leg in the air mid-performance, prompting both amusement and disbelief on various social media platforms.
TikTok Comments
"This is the worst choreography I have ever seen in my life," slammed one fan in the comment section of one TikTok video. "I've been trying to defend her but it's getting hard to do so," wrote a second, as a third said: "I'm actually embarrassed for her." "Maybe she should've gone to rehearsals instead of space," quipped a fourth fan.
"J-Lo can finally breathe," joked a fifth fan, as a sixth said, "Y'all can never say anything about Taylor's choreo after seeing this," in reference to Taylor Swift's often-mocked dance moves. "I want a refund & I didn't even go," commented a seventh fan, as an eighth added: "So shockingly bad."
"Goes to space and gets replaced by a cloned terrible dancing robot. I feel bad for Katy Perry fans," commented a ninth, as a tenth concurred: "Maybe an alien kidnapped Katy Perry and is pretending to be her." "Lifetimes tour is really the Eras tour wish version," an eleventh fan concluded.

X Users Also Criticize Katy Perry's Dancing
The negative comments continued over on X, where there was no shortage of remarks for her performance. "Katy really needs to fire whoever's her choreographer," criticized one X user. "'Top tier' pop stars are always pure cringe," thought a second.
"Who agrees that Katy Perry can't dance?" asked a third, as a fourth replied: "She dances like Taylor Swift." "Her and Swift have the same dance instructor," quipped a fifth. "People used to make fun of Taylor Swift! This is next level nonsense," stated a sixth, as a seventh joked: "She has a new fruitful career in space travel so dancing took a back burner." "Brutal to watch!" exclaimed an eighth.
Katy Perry roasted online for her vocals and dance moves while performing on her tour, following her 11 minute space trip.

"It's like a really bad episode of stars in their eyes," wrote one fan on a different video, this time where Katy is wearing a white barely-there ensemble. "Does anyone ever show this to Katy? I'd die of embarrassment if I looked like this," wrote a second.
"If you paid more than $5 to see Katy Perry perform… you paid $5 too much," slammed a third, as a fourth said: "It was truly awful." "Looks like she left her voice and dance talent in space!" added a fifth, followed by the crying laughing emoji.
