In a new Instagram post, Osbourne shows how much her weight loss has impacted her face. In a photo with her hair styled in two tight buns, the celeb shows off a slimmer face and neck with pronounced cheekbones and jawbones.
Her followers shared their praise for Osbourne’s new look in the comments, writing things like “You were beautiful before and your [sic] beautiful now!” and “You are so beautiful inside and out I can’t even handle it!”
Many even questioned whether the new appearance of Osbourne’s face is a result of cosmetic surgery, which the star has denied in the past.
She has previously shared that she had botox done to her forehead and jaw, though the slimmer look to her face is seemingly only related to her transformative weight loss journey.
Osbourne has revealed that she underwent gastric bypass surgery as a means to jump-start her weight loss. The surgery entails applying a gastric sleeve in order to remove about 75% of the stomach and boost weight loss results.
She has shared how proud she was to have the procedure done, but also warned that the surgery is not a magic cure to losing weight. It took about two years after the surgery for Osbourne to reach the milestone of having lost 85 pounds.
“The kind of surgery I had … if you don’t work out and you don’t eat right, you gain weight,” Osbourne said of the procedure. “All it does is move you in the right direction. So, anyone who’s thinking of doing something like this, really think about that.”
“What people don’t realize is, [the procedure] cuts out this hormone that if you have addiction issues, it stops your craving and it makes you not emotionally eat, which is a huge problem for me.”
