As one of today’s biggest supermodels, people are always looking for Kendall Jenner‘s beauty secrets, which she admits were taught to her by her famous sisters at an early age.
The model shocked some fans when she recently revealed in an interview that her older Kardashian sisters started encouraging her and sister Kylie Jenner to use certain beauty creams and skincare products as young as 16 years old. Kendall was one of several stars at a women’s event hosted by the famous cosmetics and beauty company L’Oréal, and opened up about how her sisters’ early advice both shaped her experience and encouraged her to figure out what she likes. Kendall Jenner Reveals Her Older Sisters Told Her To Use Anti-Aging Products When She Was A Teenager In A New Interview
Earlier this month, the reality star was one of many celebrities who attended the L'Oréal Paris Women of Worth 2025 event in Los Angeles, which honored her and several other women for their contributions to pop culture and the beauty industry.
At the event, she stopped for an interview where she began to talk about her own experience with beauty and makeup, mentioning that her famous older sisters started encouraging her to take care of her skin and avoid wrinkles at a very young age.
"My sisters, you know, they're a bit older than me, and so they've always kind of given Kylie [Jenner] and me advice since we were really young about … hydrating eye cream when I was like 16 or something," she revealed to People. "My sisters were like, 'You should start doing eye cream now so that you … have no fine lines,' and things like that. So I've always had these little tricks and things that they've been telling me for years that I probably didn't even listen to … even something as simple as sunscreen."

Kendall Describes Herself As A 'Less Is More' Type Of Person Regarding Beauty
Although some may view her older sisters' advice as pretty extreme for something to teach a teenager, especially one who was already dealing with pressure from living in the public eye, the Victoria's Secret model explained that she's started understanding why they gave her those beauty tips.
"Now I've just turned 30, and I'm starting to see the results of the things they tried to spare me from," she told the above publication.
Despite her famous Kardashian sisters and their tendency to lean into high fashion, glamour, and rather intense looks for their brands, red carpet appearances, and more, Kendall remains insistent on marching to the beat of her own drum and keeping things a little more low-key.
"I think that I've always kind of been a less-is-more person when it comes to makeup and beauty," she explained. "I've always really loved to look like an enhanced version of myself, if that makes any sense...I don't personally believe makeup is a one-size-fits-all when it comes to what looks right. Like, I don't think that certain looks will look good on me, but they might look amazing on someone else."
