Kendall Jenner Poses In A New Video Shoot For 'Vogue World' On Instagram
If you're unfamiliar with Vogue World, it's an annual live event created by Vogue that blends high fashion, performance, and pop culture into an immersive experience for fashion enthusiasts, designers, and other influential figures.
Each year, it's hosted in a different global fashion capital and serves as both a celebration of Vogue's legacy and a kickoff to Fashion Week. The show typically features runway presentations from top designers, live musical performances, dance numbers, and appearances from major celebrities, models, and cultural figures. This year, the event is being held in Hollywood, with a theme surrounding the theme industry. Additionally, the face of this year's festivities is none other than Kendall Jenner, who has been involved in an elaborate and strategic film-making inspired ad campaign.
In one of the videos she shot, which has gone viral on Instagram and can be seen here, she did a 'screen test,' and posed in a very Audrey Hepburn-coded outfit. The model was sporting a classic white button-down blouse as she started into an old-school, lit-up vanity mirror. At one point, she had on a brown wig with chic micro bangs that had her looking a whole lot like the Breakfast at Tiffany's icon. While the video was quite fun, there was something about the promotional video that bugged many internet users.
Fans React To Kendall's 'Vogue' Video And Accuse It Of Being Overly Edited
Although the video of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was quite glamorous and was an exciting sneak peek into all of the fashion events that will happen during this year's Vogue World on October 26th, some internet users felt it was too edited, with either a lot of filters or potentially, the use of AI.
While editing in major fashion campaigns is expected, the video of Kendall seemed "too" filtered or fake for many internet users, who called it out in the comments section, as well as her resemblance to the late actress.
"She is so beautiful," commented an Instagram user. "With the short hair, she resembles Audrey Hepburn."
"It looks like Kendall allowed her face to be used for AI," wrote another.
One user joked, "This is so obviously AI, Kendall has never been this expressive," and an additional user wrote there was "too much editing" in the video.
"She reminds me of a modern-day Audrey Hepburn," added another.
No one can say for sure right now whether or not the Vogue video is edited or made with AI, but one thing internet users can agree on is that Kendall knows how to rock an Audrey-esque look.
