Khloé Kardashian Posts New Selfies Of Her and Her Son After Claiming She Stopped 'Heavily' Editing Her Pictures
Every single member of the Kardashian-Jenner family has been accused of and criticized for their use of filters. While filters are common for many people who want to clean up their appearance from time to time, the famous family has taken it to the next level, given that they've single-handedly changed beauty standards for women over the years.
In addition to the speculation and confessions regarding her getting plastic surgery, Khloé has been criticized by fans and the public for years, given the drastic changes she's made to her face on top of her love of filters and Photoshopping. In a recent episode of her hit podcast, Khloé In Wonderland, the reality star admitted that there was "a time" when she "heavily" used Photoshop and other editing tools on her pictures inteded for social media, but that after taking some years to reflect on the vanity and pressure of it all, she does not "anymore."
Since then, she's posted numerous times on social media, sharing pictures of herself and her kids, her trips, her products, and more. One of her more recent posts was two selfies of her and her three-year-old son, Tatum Thompson, whom she shares with her ex, Tristan Thompson. While the subject matter of the post was quite innocent and wholesome, fans couldn't help but notice the bit of editing the mom-of-two seemed to dabble in.
Internet Users React To Khloé's Latest Selfies With Tatum
The 41-year-old's son recently celebrated his third birthday, so she's been showing a lot of love for him on Instagram. After sharing her up close selfies with him, where she sports a duck pout, many internet users focused more on how filtered she looked versus her son.
Her selfies quickly went viral and were shared on other social media platforms like Reddit, where users wrote that despite her saying she didn't heavily edit her pictures as much anymore, she still "looked like a completely different person."
"In her head, she must have rationalized that filters are not the same as FaceTune and Photoshop," commented another. "Because otherwise, what was the point of that lie?"
One user accused her of even putting a filter on her young son, something other members of the reality show family have allegedly done in the past, writing, "I think she edited his face too."
"The day will come, if it hasn't already, when the kids will ask why her photos look different from what they see in real life," joked a user.
Although we're not sure we'll ever see a day when the Kardashian-Jenner women ever decide to drop their photo editing and filters, for now, it looks like the internet would rather have them own up to it than claim they're cutting back.
