Just a few months after Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian came under fire for saying they don’t believe in sending their children to school, Kim Kardashian is also facing backlash for her own views about education.
During an interview on Kai Cenat’s ‘Mafiathon 3’ livestream earlier this month, the 44-year-old Skims mogul confessed that she doesn’t actually believe in homework, causing a huge stir on social media in the process.

The Kardashians star has already faced backlash for the way she is parenting 12-year-old daughter North, her eldest child she shares with 48-year-old ex-husband Kanye West. The pair are also parents to daughter Chicago, 7, and sons Saint, 9, and Psalm, 6.
“I don’t believe in homework. But I’m going to tell you why,” the reality TV star and law student began, adding: “Kids are in school for eight hours a day. When they come home, they need to also… they do sports, have a life, spend time with their family.” She concluded: “I think that homework should be left for in school.”

"I assume she doesn't believe in homework because she can pay someone else to do it," quipped one person on Reddit. "Great. Just what we need. More dumb rich kids," slammed a second, as a third echoed: "The dumbing down of America continues." "That explains why she's the way she is," added a fourth.
"Her father did homework – which is a child's proxy for doing more than the bare minimum. Her father did homework in school and in law school and in his legal practice. This is why he was very successful and she grew up rich," observed a fifth, as many others referenced her lawyer training.
"She became ultra famous for sex. And took the maximum tries to pass 'the bar.' And it took her what? 6 years? I don't really need her reasoning why she takes shortcuts in life," wrote a sixth, while a seventh said: "Didn't she just fail the Bar Exam again? Perhaps she should do some homework."
"Might be why she failed the California Baby Bar exam 4 times," wrote an eighth, although their comment is a little inaccurate, as she failed three times before passing on her fourth attempt.
Some Fans Defend Her Homework Views
Interestingly, others did come to her defense. "I completely agree with her," wrote one fan on Instagram, followed by two hand clapping emojis. "Personally I don't either. Children have 6/7 hours in school of learning. Home time should be their rest time from the last 6/7 hours of learning," thought a second, as a third concurred: "Preach Kimmy."
"Studies show that it doesn't even accomplish the intended outcomes. Let them relax when they go home. It's already a crazy long day for kids to sit and 'learn,'" wrote a fourth, as a fifth chimed in: "It's proven that homework does nothing to help kids learn. There has been study after study on this."
