Kim Kardashian Appears In The Teaser Trailer For 'All's Fair'
On Monday, May 13th, the Kardashians frontwoman appeared in the teaser trailer for All's Fair, a new series created by Ryan Murphy. The legal drama series follows an all-female law firm, and Kim plays one of the powerful divorce lawyers. She will perform alongside other well-renowned actresses, including Naomi Watts, Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Niecey Nash, and more.
In the trailer, which millions of people have already viewed, the KKW founder is seen wearing fashionable clothing and sitting at a table with characters who are her clients. The trailer also teases a little romance for her character and indicates that things may take a dark turn as she can also be seen injecting herself with something in a bathroom.
The character is an interesting choice for Kim, who has been open about studying law and potentially becoming a licensed lawyer. It's a goal she's been working toward since 2018, and in the meantime, she's been dedicating time to criminal justice reform and advocacy. The trailer also revealed that Kim and her mom, Kris Jenner, were executive producers on the legal drama. Despite her having some legal experience that she can take into her role, many internet users were not happy to see that she would be starring in the new highly anticipated series.
Fans React To Kim's 'Cringey' Acting In The 'All's Fair' Trailer
Once the trailer was released online, people had a lot to say about Murphy's decision to cast the billionaire in his new series among the other more conventional, talented actresses. Even though her performance as evil publicist Siobhan Corbyn in season 12 of American Horror Story didn't receive as many horrible reviews as some expected, others felt she "ruined" the season and worried about how her talent would affect the upcoming series.
On Reddit, television fans gathered to discuss the sneak peek of Kim's acting and how they felt about her being in the star-studded show.
"This looks genuinely cringey," wrote a Reddit user. "Kim is so stale."
"The woman has built her career on nothing," wrote a user regarding Kim. "No talent whatsoever."
"That weird fixation with Ryan Murphy and Kim Kardashian needs to stop," commented a Reddit user.
"She already ruined the last season of American Horror Story. [It's] such a shame because the other cast members look promising."
"One of these things is not like the other," added another user.
"There are some heavy hitters in this, and then you know, Kim K."
Other internet users wrote that Murphy needed to "make it stop" regarding Kim's appearances. We will have to wait and see what happens when All's Fair airs on Hulu this fall and if Kim can defy the odds and impress not only her fans, who will surely be watching but also the other television viewers who doubt her.
