Earlier this week, King Charles confirmed that David Beckham would soon be "Sir David Beckham" and his wife, Victoria Beckham will become "Lady Victoria Beckham." This announcement comes as part of Charles' birthday honors to recognize David's iconic sporting career and lasting contributions to British society.
Widely celebrated as one of the best soccer players of all time, with a career spanning 21 years. He was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2008, and the Premier League Hall of Fame in 2021.
This isn't Beckham's first honor from the royal family. In 2003, he was appointed an Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth and asked to be an ambassador for the King's Foundation in 2024.
