Timothée Chalamet had quite a few famous girlfriends before getting together with Kylie Jenner, including Madonna‘s daughter Lourdes Leon and Johnny Depp‘s daughter Lily-Rose Depp.
And interestingly, the internet believes that the Kylie Cosmetics founder is jealous of the daughter the Pirates of the Caribbean actor shares with ex Vanessa Paradis, as they have accused her of copying her in her latest ad campaign for Miu Miu. Check out some of the pictures here.
Kylie Jenner Stars In Miu Miu’s Fall 2025 Ad Campaign
The billionaire beauty mogul, 27, is no stranger to posing for high fashion brands, and recently added Miu Miu to her list by being one of the brand’s models for its Fall 2025 ad campaign! But it has been met with some controversy…
Kylie stars in the campaign alongside Towa Bird, Lou Doillon, Rila Fukushima, Myha’la, Yura Romaniuk, and Cortisa Star. One of the outfits the Khy founder is wearing for her Miu Miu debut is an oversized black coat, which she accessorized with a dreamy Barbiecore bag.
Another outfit consists of a black dress, knee-high socks, and a black handbag, while another is a navy blue polo shirt layered with a red strapless top, teamed with gray trousers, a black hat, and a black handbag.
People flooded social media to slam the mom-of-two’s debut Miu Miu ad campaign, with many users thinking she was trying to copy Lily-Rose Depp with her sultry, distant, and vaguely melancholic expression. Others simply thought that she wasn’t a good fit for the brand.
(For what it’s worth, older sister Kendall Jenner has previously modeled for Miu Miu, as has Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban‘s daughter Sunday Rose, the latter of whom also recently faced backlash for her ads.)
Internet Reactions
“Lily-Rose inspired?” asked one TikTok user on a video showing two images from the ad campaign, suggesting that Kylie was copying the Nosferatu actress’s signature blank-slate stare. “The mimicked Lily-Rose Depp expression,” echoed a second, as a third concurred: “Finally someone said this. “I can’t unsee it now,” replied a fourth.
“I love her and that’s why I ask this, why is she trying to be Lily?” enquired a fifth fan, as a sixth agreed, adding: “She wants to be Lily so bad.”
It wasn’t just the Lily-Rose Depp comparisons though. “She’s not a Miu Miu girl,” slammed a seventh TikTok user. “She doesn’t give Miu Miu,” agreed an eighth. “How did Miuccia allow this?” questioned a ninth, in reference to founder Miuccia Prada.
“Someone at Miu Miu needs to be fired for this,” declared a tenth, followed by the crying emoji. They added: “I’m not even a Kardashian hater, Kylie is just a terrible fit for the brand.” Ouch!
