Lady Gaga rocked a grungy and coquette look that paid homage to her Joker: Folie à Deux character, Harley Quinn, on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week. The Grammy winner and style icon, 38, performed a live rendition of her new ballad “Happy Mistake” off Harlequin, a companion album to the Joker sequel she stars in.
For her performance, the “Stupid Love” singer donned an off-the-shoulder, long-sleeved blue and white corseted dress with romantic, draping fabric, waist emphasis and a ruffled hemline that ended beneath her knees. The House of Gucci star added metallic pumps and dainty white socks to top it all off.

As for her glam, Gaga wore her trendy new red tresses in a bouncy chin-length bob with wispy fringe. For her makeup look, the A Star Is Born actress rocked smokey eyeshadow, winged liner, sky-high lashes, rosy blush and a vampy red lip.
Gaga's soaring and powerful vocals enveloped the room, and she passionately sang while falling to her knees and dancing to help emphasize the heartrending lyrics.
While sitting down with host Jimmy Kimmel, Gaga donned a different outfit that she designed herself. This was also inspired by her character Harley Quinn and featured a dramatic Peter Pan-esque collar with bell-shaped sleeves.
Gaga notably opened up about her recent engagement to entrepreneur Michael Polansky, whom she affectionately described as embodying the quintessential "Minnesota nice." The "Love Game" artist reminisced about the tour of his hometown and recounted the memorable moment when he proposed during a rock climbing adventure.
The "Bad Romance" crooner and Kimmel, 56, delved into a conversation about Joker: Folie à Deux. She described the film as far from a conventional musical, characterizing it instead as "unhinged and chaotic." Gaga shared insights into embodying a character who lacks innate singing talent, revealing how she tapped into her "inner storm." She also discussed the experience of acting alongside Joaquin Phoenix.
Gaga explained: “He encouraged me to be as raw and spontaneous as possible.” She added, regarding the initially intimidating experience: “I did the same for him. I just said, ‘It can’t be wrong if it comes from Arthur.'”
Before unveiling her new Harlequin record, Gaga teamed up with Bruno Mars for the summer release of their country-inspired single, "Die With a Smile."
Additionally, the ever-so-stylish singer has announced that a new album featuring original material will be coming out in February 2025. Lots for Little Monsters to get excited about!
