The outing took place just before Thanksgiving night, suggesting the trio shared some Friendsgiving moments together ahead of the holiday.
Aside from dating supermodels in their 20s, the Titanic star has another consistent habit: he always hides his face behind his signature facemask and cap. Fans online often poke fun at him for continuing to wear a mask long after COVID, as well as for the lengths he goes to avoid photos with fans and interactions with paparazzi.
Now, speaking to TIME after being named TIME’s Entertainer of the Year, the actor opened up about balancing his privacy with his fame.
“It’s been a balance I’ve been managing my whole adult life,” he said, “And still I’m not an expert. I think my simple philosophy is only get out there and do something when you have something to say, or you have something to show for it. Otherwise, just disappear as much as you possibly can.”
Leonardo DiCaprio Opens Up About Aging And Privacy
He continued, “I was like, ‘OK, how do I have a long career? Because I love what I do, and I feel like the best way to have a long career is to get out of people’s face.”
In an August interview with Esquire, Leo offered a glimpse into his thoughts, particularly about aging. When asked, “If you didn’t know how old you are, how old are you right now?” The Shutter Island alum answered, “Thirty-two.”
DiCaprio was also questioned about how he felt turning 50 in 2024. Leo said, “Well, it creates a feeling like you have a desire to just be more honest and not waste your time. I can only imagine how the next few decades are going to progress. I look at my mother, for example, and she just says exactly what she thinks and wastes no time. She spends no time trying to fake it.”
