Greek yogurt is an excellent food to eat before bed. Not only is it low in carbs, but it's also high in protein, something Regina Fazzini, M.S., R.D., says you need to for weight loss. "Plain Greek yogurt is a great bedtime snack for those who are trying to lose weight. It's filled with healthy probiotics, proteins, and nutrients that will help to boost your metabolism," she says.
But Fazzini stresses that not all yogurt is a healthy choice. Flavored yogurt is filled with unhealthy sugars that will do nothing for your waistline. If you need your yogurt to have a little flavor, Fazzini recommends topping your plain Greek yogurt with nuts, seeds, and berries!
