According to reports, the "Emo Girl" rapper – real name Colson Baker – is optimistic that things will work out between him and the Jennifer's Body actress, with whom he recently welcomed daughter Saga Blade Fox-Baker.
Their recent trip to Costa Rica reportedly marked a turning point, with insiders saying the two are co-parenting smoothly and doing their best to prioritize family life. Still, those close to the pair say nothing is set in stone, and they are taking things one day at a time.
"He still hopes to reconcile with Megan, but they're taking things day by day," an insider told Entertainment Tonight. "They've been spending quality time together and focusing on their family as a whole," the source continued, adding that they're "on good terms and have been getting along for the sake of their daughter."
It's not just baby Saga that has inspired a more peaceful dynamic. The Expend4bles actress also shares sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 9, with ex-husband, Brian Austin Green, while the "Bad Things" musician shares 16-year-old daughter Casie with ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon.
The source added: "They want to set a good example for the kids that you can have a good parenting relationship despite their previous issues in their romantic relationship. It doesn't have to be contentious."
Machine Gun Kelly And Megan Fox Are Taking Things Slowly
This seems to align with what another source told Us Weekly a few months ago, hinting that the couple are successfully reconnecting, but are intentionally keeping things low-pressure.
"Things are going really well, and they have reconnected in a meaningful way," the source shared at the time.
"They are basically back together, as they have been spending every night together with the baby," they went on. They added that the pair "aren't putting a label on their relationship" because that would add "extra stress" – something they're trying to avoid this time around.
