Meghan Markle is the cover star of Harper’s Bazaar‘s latest issue, which is known as The Art Issue. And while she looks undeniably chic on the cover and in the accompanying editorial images in covetable pieces from The Row, Celine, Ferragamo, and more, the internet has, unsurprisingly, still managed to find plenty to criticize.
Social media expectedly had a field day with her interview, where the mom-of-two spoke about many controversial things that have since been widely mocked, including how much Prince Harry loves her.

Telling interviewer Kaitlyn Greenidge that Prince Harry "loves me so boldly, fully," Meghan also said: "No one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he's always going to make sure that he has my back."
The As Ever founder went on to say that she loves his "playful" personality, saying: "You have someone who just has this childlike wonder and playfulness. I was so drawn to that, and he brought that out in me."
"That's translated into every part of our life. Even in business, I want us to play and have fun and explore and be creative," she added.
Interviewer Claims Meghan Markle Was Announced As 'The Duchess Of Sussex'
Those quotes alone sparked plenty of negative commentary online; but nothing compared to a detail Greenidge dropped in her write-up.
According to the interviewer, the two entered a "grand" New York City brownstone belonging to one of Meghan's friends when something unexpected happened. "When I enter, the house manager announces, 'Meghan, Duchess of Sussex,' even though we appear to be the only other two people in the house," Greenidge wrote.
And it wasn't just a one-off. Greenidge also recalled that someone announced Meghan using her title at the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles, where she met a group of girls from a local STEM school. She added: "A golf cart pulls up, the gravel crunching beneath its tires. 'The Duchess of Sussex,' someone in the scrum announces."

"I'm mortified for her!" exclaimed one person on Instagram. "I, too, am embarrassed for her. This is beyond hilarious!" replied a second, as a third chimed in: "Narcs have no shame." "OMG @megynkellyshow @emilyjashinsky are going to have a field day with this," predicted a fourth, followed by two crying laughing emojis. in reference to Megyn Kelly, who always has a lot of negative things to say about Meghan.
"This made my morning," concurred a fifth, also followed by two crying laughing emojis. "Freaking comical," the same person added, as a sixth called her a "Temu royal." Ouch! "This is so Prince Andrew. Former Prince Andrew. He always demands people formally announce him and use his title," noted a seventh, as an eighth said: "If that is true it is mortifying and pretentious af!"
"Sooooooo ridiculous," slammed a ninth, as a tenth quipped: "I hope this is true. It is hysterical." "Embarrassing. And true. The journalist wrote it in the article. Wild and gross," added an eleventh, as a twelfth simply said it was "classic Meghan."
And then of course were the people who recalled how she and Prince Harry stepped down as senior royals in 2020, with someone else asking: "Didn't she basically give the middle finger to the royals?" "I thought she didn't want to be a royal?" recalled another. "I don't want to be a royal but I do want to be a royal," joked another, in agreement, as yet another disgruntled IG user said: "It looks like it is everything to her, a life goal… to be royal but only with title."
