Meghan Markle made sure the world knew that she was attending Paris Fashion Week, specifically the Balenciaga event. Despite rumors that she was paid to attend the show, Balenciaga designer Pierpaolo Piccioli just confirmed that Meghan had reached out to him for an invite, and not the other way around.

To add to this already embarrassing fact, Meghan also didn’t put on the best front while attending the show, from an awkward moment greeting Piccioli to actually laughing at a model as she stumbled on the runway. Keep reading for more information.

Meghan Markle Laughs At Falling Model

A video of the Duchess sitting front row at the Balenciaga catwalk has emerged. In the clip, Markle is at first studying the runway, watching the models strut, when suddenly one stumbles, which causes Meghan to immediately laugh into her hand and turn to her neighbor, looking for someone to laugh with.

Unfortunately for her, her neighbor, Soho House creative director Marcus Anderson, wasn’t as amused as she was. After realizing Anderson wasn’t going to laugh with her, she turned back to the runway.

This wasn’t Meghan’s first awkward moment at the Balenciaga event. As she arrived, she was caught on video leaning in to give designer Pierpaolo Piccioli kisses on the cheek in greeting, but he didn’t seem to get the memo, the two awkwardly embraced before Meghan moved on to take her seat.

Social Media Reactions

Videos of Meghan's poor performance at the Balenciaga event have gone viral on social media, with critics on platforms like X, formerly Twitter, called her a "mean girl" and "Absolutely classless."

"Female empowerment at its best," wrote another person with sarcasm. "Her true colors were caught on camera."

"Zero class," agreed another one. "She lacks empathy."

"How mean!" another person wrote. "You would think with all the 'bullying' she's endured she would think to be kinder to people."
