Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s parenting choices have been under a microscope ever since they made the dramatic decision to step away from their royal duties and move their family to the United States. However, some rumors are circulating that they’re considering going back.

Not long after Prince Harry gave a bombshell interview where he said he felt it was too dangerous for his family to spend time in the UK without sufficient security protection, an inside source revealed that he would like for his children to have a British education, leaving royal fans to presume that he and his wife would one day like to return to England with their family. Still, internet users found the rumor to be hypocritical and accused them of telling “lies.” Read more about the latest insider claims below.

A Former Royal Butler Claims Prince Harry Wants His Kids To Have A 'British Education'

Over the last year, it's been presumed by the public that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no plans or intentions to return to England for an extended visit, much less a permanent move, after the prince lost his intense battle for more security.

After stepping back from royal duties in 2020, the UK court downgraded the couple's royal security, which caused Harry to retaliate and appeal their ruling, claiming that a lack of security would put him and his family in danger. Despite his appeal, the court ultimately stuck to its decision after a hearing in May, noting that its security would be decided on a case-by-case basis. Immediately, the dad-of-two sat down for a major interview with the BBC, where he said he was "devastated" by the court's decision, and that he "couldn't see a world" where he and Meghan bring their children to even visit with his family across the pond due to safety concerns.

Now, Grant Harrold, a former royal butler to King Charles III, has reportedly been speaking out about the situation, claiming that despite all of the security drama, Prince Harry still longs for his children to have an educational experience that was similar to his in the UK.

As reported by Hello!, when an interviewer with Study Dog asked Harrold if Harry and Meghan would ever move their two kids, Archie and Lilibet, back to England for an education, he responded, "It's very likely and completely possible."

"If they have their younger education in America, I'm sure their father will be quite keen to have a bit of a British education," he continued. "But then it depends on how the relationship is with the rest of the family when the time comes."

The Internet Reacts To The Royal Insider's Claims That Harry & Meghan's Children May Receive An Education In The UK

Once the quote from the former butler hit social media, numerous users began weighing in on the possibility of the Duke and Duchess's two children attending school in England, finding it ironic due to the number of times the 40-year-old and the As Ever founder have hinted that they would not return due to safety issues.

At one point, the Canadian native told The Cut that she would hardly be able to do a school drop-off or pick-up with Archie without photographers and onlookers risking his safety, which was something she had "a problem with." Now that the former butler alleges it was possible that her two children could eventually go back to their dad's home country for school, both she and her husband are being called out.

On Instagram, internet users accused the Harry & Meghan stars of telling "lies," and that they need to "make up their minds."

"Didn't they claim it was too dangerous?" wrote a user.

"I can't imagine the UK would have them," added another.

Another Instagram user commented that the couple "should've thought of that before" they left for the United States a little under a year after Archie was born in 2020.

While the couple has yet to comment on these accusations, internet users are curious to see what happens with their plans for their family, and whether or not a trip back to the UK is possible.
