The With Love, Meghan star's throwback image from 2016 showed her and Prince Harry smiling, hugging, and looking blissfully happy while posing together in the water during their trip to Botswana, which was one of their first dates. The 2026 black and white video, meanwhile, featured just as much love and joy – plus some added dancing for good measure!

The clip shows Meghan and Prince Harry dancing on what appears to be the grounds of their Montecito, California home, where they live with daughter Princess Lilibet and their six-year-old son, Prince Archie. Dubious Instagram Users Call Out The Camera Angle
Not only did social media think the video was "staged," but they also did not believe that the four-year-old filmed it, noting that the camera angle didn't appear to match a child's height. And boy did they make their thoughts known…
"And we all believe a 4-year-old took these shots," commented one Instagram user, followed by three crying laughing emojis. "Does anyone actually believe a 4-year-old filmed that? Come on it would be tilted upwards and shaking. Just more BS lies from the grifters," echoed a second, as a third asked: "Is Lili 5 feet tall? Look at the camera height and angle."
"If anyone really believes that a 4-year-old held this 'steady camera', I have oceanfront real estate to sell you… in Iowa...," joked a fourth, as a fifth slammed: "There is nothing authentic or true about it. Shame." "Sure the kid took the video," wrote a sixth dubious user, as a seventh simply called the whole thing "fake."
Meghan Markle Slammed As 'Inauthentic' And 'Attention Seeking'
"These are professional pictures. She is so inauthentic, that's why people don't take to her," thought an eighth, as a ninth quipped: "Their camera crew must be exhausted." "They are trying WAY too hard and it isn't working," agreed a tenth, as an eleventh added: "Everything is so staged with her."
"Attention seeking as always," thought a twelfth, as a thirteenth, along with countless others, referenced their request for privacy: "Silly me thought they wanted their privacy." "So cringeworthy!" exclaimed a fourteenth.
