Twitter Is Destroying Melania Trump For Using AI To Record Her Audiobook: ‘Too Lazy To Read Her Own Story’

Late last year, Melania announced the release of her memoir: Melania. After selling both the regular hardcover and a $250 special edition version of the book, the First Lady has now announced the audiobook version—with a twist. The entire book is narrated by AI programmed to sound exactly like Melania. But users on Twitter, now X, aren’t impressed. Keep reading for more information.

Melania: A Memoir tells the story of the former First Lady growing up in Slovenia, a European country sandwiched between Croatia and Austria, before moving to New York City and joining the world of high fashion. She also details “the serendipitous meeting with Donald Trump, a chance encounter that forever changed the course of her life,” according to the book blurb.

Melania announced her book on Instagram, writing in a the caption beneath a photo of the book, “Our lives are shaped by our experiences, challenges, and achievements. For the first time, I share my journey with you, in my new memoir, Melania.”

Taking to X to announce the audiobook release, the mother-of-one wrote, “I am proud to share with you MELANIA — The AI Audiobook, narrated entirely using artificial intelligence — in my own voice. My Story. My Perspective. The Truth.”
