Michelle Opens Up About The Loss Of Rob & Michele Reiner
The mom-of-two's late-night interview happened one day after the incident that has film and pop culture lovers reeling - the tragic murder of Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner. The couple was discovered deceased in their California home, and their son, Nick, was charged with allegedly killing them.
Not only did the loss of the Reiners affect film enthusiasts around the world, but also the lives of the Obamas, who were friends of theirs. While speaking to Jimmy, Michelle admitted that she and Barack were still struggling to process the couple's passing, and revealed they were supposed to see them the night they died.
"We've known them for many, many years, and we were supposed to be seeing them that night, last night," she said, later calling them "decent, courageous people."
