A resurfaced interview with Inside Edition has left fans stunned for all the wrong reasons, as it involved the now 32-year-old “Walk of Fame” singer being forced to address pregnancy rumors on the red carpet. The interview took place in 2007, meaning Miley was just 14 years old at the time!
“I am not pregnant. I am 14 years old, and that is very lame because I’m a minor,” the three-time Grammy winner declared at the time. She added: “And yeah. So stupid. The main reason that I’m here tonight [is to] set the record straight. I think that people that make stuff up like that do that, [it’s] kind of a cry for help, for attention.” Miley was always wise beyond her years, it seems!
Shockingly, the “Flowers” hitmaker was asked about the same rumors again on the red carpet that night – this time by an Extra TV reporter, who asked: “Why do you think these rumors about you being pregnant still exist? [What] do you think they’re still going around?”

Miley replied: "I don't know, I'm ready for them to make up something else so I can escape from it." She continued: "I think it's just people kind of wanting attention, but they didn't get the attention they wanted. It got turned back on me, and it was attention that I did not want at all."
The "Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved" singer also reflected on how her fans supported her through the situation, saying: "It was really breaking my heart, so I thought it would really take me down. But the only thing it's done, it's put me in a position where everyone sees how supportive my fans are because all my fans have really stood strong and said 'No, that's not true.'"
