During the Q&A, the Australian native shared that since making Nashville her primary home in 2008, she and fellow actress Reese Witherspoon have been working on big plans to bring more Hollywood projects to Tennessee’s capital.
“I’ll be bringing more and more production here,” the mother of four revealed during the panel. “Reese Witherspoon lives here too, and she’s one of my best besties.”
She continued, “There is so much room here for production. The crews are fantastic, and the actors and the people, all of … I feel that it’s taking off and will continue to take off, so off we go.”
While the news is exciting, the Big Little Lies actress and her country singer husband, Keith Urban, have also been making headlines amid rumors of a separation, as reports claim the actress has been spending months living in her lavish London residence without him.

The Australian actress is staying in pop star Boy George’s former mansion in Hampstead, England, while filming Practical Magic 2, a residence reportedly costing her $88K per month.
“They do make an effort to speak every day when they’re apart, but it’s shocking how much time they’ve spent apart since Nicole’s mother died last September,” a source told the news outlet. The insider added that Kidman’s “living arrangement was raising eyebrows among the community.”
“It’s like they both went their separate ways. Now she’s getting comfortable in a dream home in London on the other side of the world,” they said.
While the Eyes Wide Shut alum focuses on filming, her husband of 19 years is on the road, touring across the U.S. and Canada as part of his ongoing High and Alive Tour, which continues through mid-October.
“No one knows how long they can put up with this situation, as they’ve always been diligent about not spending more than two weeks apart. Clearly, that’s not the case anymore,” the insider concluded.
