On Thursday, July 30th, the Skims mogul shared several photos from the family's most recent getaway, one of which showed her and Penelope paddleboarding. In the picture, the 14-year-old wore a simple white bikini, styled her dark hair in an effortless down do, appeared to be wearing little to no makeup, and flashed a peace sign for the camera. Many fans said she looked exactly how a typical teenager her age should.
This isn't the first time Penelope has been praised for what fans describe as her age-appropriate style and behavior. Similar comments flooded social media when she and North attended Coachella together back in April. Penelope opted for a casual crop top, light-wash baggy jeans, and a black belt, pairing the outfit with minimal makeup and a natural hairdo.
North, meanwhile, wore an over-the-top grunge-inspired ensemble featuring a black printed T-shirt, ripped shorts, platform boots, studded bracelets, and a gargantuan chain necklace. She also styled her signature blue hair in a waist-length curly down do, wore sparkly eyeshadow and dramatic lashes, and sported an attention-grabbing black and white manicure, with many fans saying her overall look was too much and made her look much older than her age.
As a result, Kourtney has frequently been praised for the way she is raising Penelope and for allowing her to dress in what fans consider more "age-appropriate" outfits. "I love that P has remained age-appropriate," wrote one follower on Instagram at the time.
