The Coat Everyone Will Be Wearing This Winter (& It's Not Puffers!)

Let us be very clear: we are not hating on puffer coats in any fashion. We love that cozy winter jacket trend just as much as the next gal, but in an effort to broaden our horizons and expand our coat collections for the new year, there’s a new style we’re looking to shop instead: plaid coats.

If you haven’t already noticed, plaid coats are the move this winter. Every fashionista and street style star as far as the eye can see has been spotted wearing this trend to stay warm this season. The chic longer jacket style balances comfort and sophistication, and can be dressed up or down depending on your mood.

The plaid coat trend comes in a variety of colorways, from red, yellow, brown, and just your average black, making it easy to find a style that fits into your winter wardrobe.
