Prince Andrew – or rather, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor – might be having the worst year of his life. Not only has the disgraced royal given up the use of his Duke of York title (with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson also giving up her Duchess of York title!) due to the renewed fallout over his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, but he has also just been stripped of all his remaining royal titles too.
And after years of clinging to it – much to the frustration of older brother, King Charles – he has finally been forced to part with his beloved 30-room Royal Lodge residence. But, unsurprisingly, Andrew isn’t going quietly…
King Charles Strips Andrew Of All Remaining Titles
In a dramatic and "unprecedented" move, to quote royal expert Hilary Fordwich when speaking to Fox News Digital, King Charles has formally stripped Andrew of all remaining royal titles, military affiliations, and privileges, in addition to his Duke of York title. According to an October 30th statement from Buckingham Palace, the former prince will now be known simply as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The palace also confirmed that his time at Royal Lodge has to come to an end! "His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him," the palace stated.
"Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse," the statement concluded.
The move has unsurprisingly gone down quite well on social media, with many people thinking the demotion and eviction couldn't have come sooner! "I've been saying this for ages, it's long overdue. He's lost his titles. Now give up the lodge, put him in Frogmore Cottage," wrote one person on Instagram.
"Karma baby," added a second. "Revolting human," slammed a third, as a fourth said it was "about time," followed by the fire emoji. Another Instagram user dropped four hand clapping emojis, as someone else declared: "I can't believe he is still not in jail."

Andrew Will Only Leave Royal Lodge Under One Condition – And It Involves Ex-Wife Sarah Ferguson
According to The Sun, Andrew agreed to finally vacate Royal Lodge, where he currently lives with his ex-wife, amid the fallout. But only if certain conditions are met!
He is reportedly demanding to live in Frogmore Cottage, the former home of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. This is where the King actually wanted him to live for years, so maybe this isn't too unreasonable. What is unreasonable, many will argue, is that he is also asking for an entirely different property for his ex-wife to live in. And that property is Prince William and Kate Middleton's former home, Adelaide Cottage.
"Frogmore Cottage is too small for both, and Adelaide Cottage is around the corner, so they will see each other whenever they want," an insider told The Sun about Andrew's request, while another source chimed in: "No one is really sure how it's going to go down at the palace yet."

Will King Charles Grant Andrew's Demands?
Despite the father-of-two's reasoning, royal commentators have criticized him for being completely out of touch with reality. "He is totally oblivious to reality and has a ghastly, entitled attitude," royal expert Hilary Fordwich reportedly told Fox News Digital.
"He doesn't care about the longevity of the monarchy, or he wouldn't have put it in jeopardy in the first place," she continued, adding: "He wouldn't have put his own mother in such a position. He would just go quietly."

More Demands Involving Daughters Princess Beatrice And Princess Eugenie
Andrew's alleged requests go beyond housing, as he reportedly also wants compensation from King Charles for the millions spent on renovations at Royal Lodge. Royal commentator Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News Digital that Andrew also "wants a financial settlement for Sarah Ferguson, who also contributed towards the renovations at Royal Lodge."
"I would also imagine he wants to continue his own business activities without further interference from the royal family," he went on, before going on to say that Andrew has some requests for his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who, for what it's worth, will not be forced to give up any titles.
Pelham Turner confirmed that Andrew "also wants respect and support for his two daughters, allowing them to continue their royal work and charity patronages."
