Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen enjoying a date night at Game 4 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays.

Seated in the front row at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday, the pair cheered on the action while rocking their team merchandise.

The couple showed off their team spirit in coordinated Dodgers-inspired outfits. Meghan opted for a preppy look, wearing a white button-up shirt with a navy sweater draped over her shoulders, dark pants, and a blue Dodgers cap.

Prince Harry complemented her in a white shirt paired with a navy blazer, matching trousers, and a Dodgers cap of his own.

While the couple appeared to enjoy a kid-free date night, a viral video of their stadium entrance sparked online controversy due to the heavy security presence and dramatic entry.

A video shared by Entertainment Tonight shows security, stadium staff, and even a police officer escorting the couple down a hallway. Fans were surprised to see that no one else was nearby, making the whole scene look unusually excessive.

One fan commented under the video, "Why all the special treatment? Can't they walk into the game like everyone else? Didn't they leave England because they wanted normalcy?" A second said, "I don’t know why, but I find this so obnoxious." A third wrote, "I don't understand the security unless they paid for them. In the USA no one cares about them." A fourth commented, "I honestly feel like the security is just for show because I don't believe that people are that obsessed with him at all." A fifth said, "They do not need that much security and escorts." One user noted, "The people in front and behind them are walking so calmly and unbothered... so why is their security acting so dramatic?"

Prince Harry Continues His Demand For Security In The UK

Security has been a major concern for Prince Harry. He lost his automatic, taxpayer-funded protection in the UK when he stepped back from his role as a senior working royal in 2020. Now, the British government’s security committee provides police protection for him and his family on a case-by-case basis—a system Harry argues is insufficient and requires lengthy notice for visits.

Despite these setbacks, People.com reports that he has continued requesting a reassessment of his security arrangements, sending letters to the government. Amid ongoing reconciliation talks with his father, Harry says he doesn’t feel it’s safe enough to bring Meghan and their two children to the UK.
