Royal Expert Thinks Prince Harry Is 'Petrified' Of Meghan Markle, And Also 'Petrified Of Losing Her'
On a recent episode of The Sun's Royal Exclusive podcast, royal editor Matt Wilkinson spoke to royal biographer Hugo Vickers and journalist Bronte Coy about their thoughts on Prince Harry and Meghan's marriage.
Vickers claimed that Prince Harry feels trapped by his and Meghan's controversial decision to step down as senior royals and become financially independent in California. Vickers also thought that Prince Harry is "petrified" that his marriage could collapse under the weight of their numerous projects and public scrutiny, and he could be left with nothing due to his ongoing feud with his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William.
"I hate to say it, but my feeling at the end of the day is that Prince Harry is petrified of her and petrified of losing her," Vickers said, further expressing skepticism about Meghan's solo projects. "It's just hard to see where it's going," he bluntly added.
Royal Experts Voice Their Concerns About Prince Harry's Future
Expanding on his concerns, Vickers thought that Prince Harry may have taken a backseat in the decision-making process when it came to their personal lives and professional projects, speculating that he may have "been made to do many things" that he didn't want to.
Coy also offered her perspective on the potential outcome if the couple were to go their separate ways, which could happen if, for example, Meghan enjoyed doing things on her own a little too much. "There are only a small handful of royals and people that have the profile that he has and you have to imagine that if that relationship did fall apart for whatever reason down the line, really where does that leave him?" she pondered.
"You can imagine that he would be scared of that," Coy concluded, prompting Vickers to add: "Well, he has to come home eventually if he can." Could Prince Harry be reunited with the royal family if he and Meghan split?
