Saks Fifth Avenue customers know that it’s a mecca for designers—they’ve got MOTHER jeans, Phillip Lim, LoveShackFancy and so many other hot brands under one roof. It’s also an iconic store with a rich history and a loyal customer base. And one more thing they’ve got in droves are great seasonal discounts. The store generously marks down their impressive inventory twice a year during their Designer Sale (or formerly, the Consolidation Sale). It’s something that every Saks shopper marks their calendar for.
The event only happens on a bi-annual basis—once in January and once in June/July—but when it does, you’d better act fact. They offer up to 70% off a selection of designer items. The only catch is that everything is final sale. Still with us? Yes—the sale is happening now and we couldn’t be more excited!
When Is It
The Designer Sale is happening now online and in stores.
The best inventory doesn’t stay in stock for long, and the sale has already been running for a bit, so we’d suggest that you run, not walk, to this epic event.
What Is It
This is the sale that Saks shoppers wait for every season. The consolidation sale, aka designer sale, features a selection of designer items for up to 70% off. There is no code required, the prices are as marked.
Historically, Saks held Consolidation sales in December/January and July/August for women, as well as a men’s consolidation sale in July.

This all changed in 2014 when the brand announced that it would be taking a break. Luckily, shopping sleuths noticed that the event was back the next year, in 2015.

The Consolidation Sale for Him and Her was held at the Beverly Hills and New York stores only.
In 2018, the Designer sale took place the last week of June and featured Prada, Saint Laurent, FRAME, Chloe and more for 60% off.
