Kelly Osbourne is one of the many celebrities who have lost a ton of weight recently—and rapidly. While many, like Kelly’s own mother, Sharon, attribute their weight loss to Ozempic, others claim it’s diet and exercise driving the weight loss. Kelly has lost 85 pounds since giving birth two years ago and even more since her father, Ozzy Osbourne, passed away, and cites cutting carbs and sugar from her diet as the secret to her success—but some fans don’t believe her. Now, Sharon Osbourne is speaking out. Keep reading for more information.
Sharon Osbourne Claps Back
Kelly Osbourne recently debuted a whole new look—looking slender as ever at an event in London. She dressed in a charcoal gray button-up and coordinating pants with a black belt at the waist and a sparkling necklace to match. The boldest part of her look are her bright blonde locks, which were styled in a Marilyn Monroe-inspired voluminous updo. While the look was certainly chic, it did highlight her dramatic weight loss, prompting some comments from critics saying she looks "too skinny."
Sharon Osbourne, though, will have none of the critics coming for her daughter, saying on an episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored: "She's lost her daddy. She can't eat right now."
This is similar to Kelly's own clap back, which she wrote on social media last week: "To the people who keep thinking they’re being funny and mean by writing comments like, ‘Are you ill,’ or ‘Get off Ozempic,’ or ‘You don’t look right,'" she said. "My dad just died, and I’m doing the best that I can, and the only thing I have to live for right now is my family. And I choose to share my content with you and share the happy side of my life, not the miserable side of my life."

Kelly Osbourne's Dramatic Weight Loss
Kelly Osbourne has dropped 85 pounds since she welcomed her son, Sidney, in 2022, and claims she did so by dieting. Speaking to Extra, she explained, "I cut out sugar and carbohydrates and I rapidly lost weight."
"I had gestational diabetes, and I had to lose the weight that I had gained during pregnancy, otherwise I was at a higher risk of actually getting diabetes, which I did not want," Kelly continued. "I know everybody thinks I took Ozempic. I did not take Ozempic. I don't know where that came from. My mum took Ozempic."
