Simon Cowell‘s fans have been asking questions about his ever-changing appearance for many years now. From his ongoing use (and then apparent denouncement!) of fillers and other cosmetic treatments, to his impressive weight loss, the internet hasn’t stopped talking about his looks.
And now, the America’s Got Talent judge is opening up about his health and appearance once again, explaining that he actually feels younger than ever thanks to a controversial new treatment taking over Hollywood. Keep reading for more info…
Simon Cowell Opens Up About His Health Journey
The former American Idol judge, 66, spoke to The Sun about his unique, shall we say, health journey, which has recently included visiting a wellness clinic where they "rinse" and "filter" his blood. Yes, really!
"I go to this place, this wellness clinic, where they actually take your blood, they rinse it, they filter it and then they put it back into your body," Cowell told the outlet, before suggesting that this treatment, in addition to his healthy eating and lifestyle habits, have contributed to him feeling younger.

Simon Cowell Says He Has 'Aged Backwards' Due To Blood Filtering Treatment, Diet, And Lifestyle Changes
"You do all these tests, and they tell you your age, so I've actually aged backwards by eating better, more exercise, less stress, and certain supplements. My brain is still there, I still have the energy," he went on.
Cowell, who is father to 11-year-old son Eric, didn't embellish on the procedure he had, but a process called apheresis is quite popular in Hollywood these days, so it's quite likely that that's what he had.
Orlando Bloom seemingly had apheresis back in July following his split from fiancée Katy Perry. So what exactly is it In simple terms, apheresis is a medical procedure (and a pricey one at that!) where blood is taken out, run through a machine that spins or filters it to separate certain parts, and then the cleaned blood is put back into the body.
Some wellness circles claim this can help flush out things like microplastics or other toxins, but the science behind those anti-aging and detox claims is still very much up for debate.

Internet Reactions
While the music producer may be *feeling* better and younger, the internet rather cruelly doesn't think it shows! "Does someone want to tell him," quipped one person on Instagram. "No, he's not aging backwards unless he looked that scary in his 20's," joked a second, as a third said: "Sorry, not working."
"I disagree he's definitely not aging backwards," commented a fourth. "Came to the comments and y'all didn't let me down," a fifth chimed in, followed by two crying laughing emojis. A sixth said he looked "scary," while a seventh said: "He looks like a puppet." "He looks so strange," concurred an eighth.
"Having money must be nice. You can pay to have your blood filtered while common folk can't even afford to eat or get any medical care at all," wrote a ninth disgruntled IG user. "Blood rinse and filter? So you mean dialysis?" asked a tenth.
