Sydney Sweeney Strips Down For A 'W Magazine' Photoshoot
Now that award season is officially in full swing, the Housemaid actress was included in W Magazine's annual coverage on some of the past year's "best performances." Despite a controversial year with her viral jeans campaign and a few viral interview moments, Sydney continued to be the talk of the town in the entertainment industry, starring in several films, including Christy and Echo Valley.
In her interview with the publication, which was filmed and shared on YouTube, the Euphoria star answered a random collection of questions and addressed how being a prominent member of the entertainment industry has felt.
"It's so different," she said. "When I was little, it was more wanting to play different characters, and that part has come true. But I had no idea about everything else that came along with it."
However, more than her interview, her photoshoot for the "Best Performances" issue is what really caused a stir online, as she stripped down to nothing but a diamond choker necklace, and had her enviable figure covered in gold bodypaint.
She also showed off her latest hair transformation, a wispy bob, which she had styled in an old Hollywood, Marilyn Monroe-inspired type of fashion. You can see the photos here!
Internet Users React To Sydney's Photoshoot On Social Media
Once the photos of the 28-year-old bombshell went viral very quickly, as it was a very sultry and risque shoot, it drew a lot of attention on social media platforms. The timing was also notable, as recent buzzing reports came out that some of her close friends and family expressed they wished she would "cover up."
On sites like Instagram, fans of Sydney and other internet users shared their thoughts and opinions on the shoot in the comments section.
"Sydney, you're iconic to your generation and to this time in history," wrote a fan. "Gorgeous and ferocious!"
"Marilyn Monroe vibes!" added another.
"Breaking the internet once again," commented a fan.
Other internet users felt the photoshoot was quite controversial, as in the past, the Washington native has expressed that she doesn't want to be known only for her body and figure.
"Being nude doesn't mean you are respected," wrote a user.
"Now it's desperate," added another.
