Taylor Swift just added a whole lot of extra joy to an already exciting situation for Breezy Johnson, the superstar Olympic skier.
Earlier this week, the internet was swooning after Breezy Johnson revealed her boyfriend, Connor Watkins, proposed to her at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, just days after she was awarded a gold medal. Olympic Skier Breezy Johnson Gets Proposed To During The 2026 Winter Olympics
The 2026 Winter Olympics are in full swing, and so far, there have been many viral moments. From intense figure skating routines to heartbreaking injuries, the world has been seeing a whole lot. In one of the more popular sports to watch, downhill skiing, Team USA found a star in Breezy Johnson, who won a gold medal last week.
However, she didn't have a ton of luck this past Thursday, after experiencing a crash during the women's Super-G. Although she might not have placed where she wanted, when she got to the finish line, her boyfriend, Connor Watkins, was there waiting for her with a major surprise.
He got on one knee and proposed to her with a ring that contained a blue stone, and had a jewelry box with lyrics from Taylor Swift's song, "The Alchemy," which fans believe references her relationship with fiancé Travis Kelce.
"Honestly, who are we to fight the alchemy?" read the wooden ring box.

After the proposal, which happened in front of fans, fellow contestants, the press, and television stations aired live, the athlete shared numerous photos from it, including an up-close snap of her ring and jewelry box. The warmhearted, viral moment took off on social media and caught the attention of the "Alchemy" songwriter herself, who ended up leaving a comment on Breezy's Instagram post.
"Where's the trophy?" she wrote, adding more lyrics from the song. "He just comes running over to me. CONGRATULATIONS!!!"
Once the Eras Tour star was in the conversation, both the skiing champion and fellow fans alike began to freak out online, gushing over the sincere moment, excited for the two brides-to-be, given that Taylor got engaged to the Chiefs player last year.
"How wonderful is this?" wrote a fan on Instagram. "So happy for you both!"
"This is so wholesome!" added another.
"If Taylor commented on my engagement, I would simply pass away," joked a user.
