Taylor Swift stopped by The Tonight Show New York City set this week to discuss her record-breaking hit album Midnights, filming her “Bejeweled” music video and more with host Jimmy Fallon. The Grammy winner, 32, rocked a retro black-and-white, geometric-print pantsuit that showed off her tiny waist and affinity for vintage fashion.

Swift’s tailored blazer jacket was paired with straight-leg bottoms with the same pattern. The “Anti-Hero” singer’s set is from Dorothee Schumacher, and she layered her button-up top over a matching turtleneck piece. (So chic!) Swift completed her look with sky-high, black platform Jimmy Choo boots, and accessorized her sleek, elegant get-up with silver Nickho Rey hoops and chunky rings.

The “Lavender Haze” songwriter wore her long, blonde tresses and bangs down, and styled straight for the occasion. She and topped it all off with black cat-eye liner, smokey eyeshadow, mascara and her signature Old Hollywood-esque red lipstick.

Swift sat down for the interview with Fallon, 48, just three days after releasing her tenth studio album, Midnights, which broke Spotify records, as Rolling Stone reported, by becoming the “most-streamed project in a single day in the service’s history.” The country-turned-popstar told Fallon that she has “a psychotic amount” of Easter eggs for the LP that she kept track of in a PDF file, to the delight of her millions of fans.

“I’m beside myself,” said Swift of her album’s critical acclaim and Swiftie approval. “I’m feeling very overwhelmed by the fans’ love for the record. I’m 32 so we’re considered geriatric pop stars. So I’m just happy to be here.” In addition, Swift also hinted at a tour following her latest album release, “I think I should do it. When it’s time, we’ll do it. I miss it,” she said.

For Midnights, Swift collaborated once again with musician and producer Jack Antonoff, and also teamed up with Lana Del Rey for the album’s third track, “Snow on the Beach.” While Swift successfully promoted her new project on TikTok over the past few weeks, she also worked with Spotify to effectively tease and release lyrics from Midnights on billboards worldwide. As seen on social media, this included Nashville, (where she got her start in music), New York City, São Paulo, and London.

Just after Midnights officially dropped on Spotify on October 21st, the platform briefly crashed as fans flooded the app while listening. Now, you can stream the “masterpiece” in all its glory without any delay, along with several bonus tracks that Swift added hours after, deeming them part of her “3 am Edition.”
