Taylor Swift is known for having written or co-written every single one of her songs in her 11-album discography. She’s one of the most talented song writers of our age, if not the most, and her songs are both extremely personal yet relatable to her audiences.
Which is why her fans are finding it laughable that a poet is suing the pop star, claiming she’s plagiarized her work for many of her songs. Yet, the poet is having trouble serving Taylor Swift—she literally can’t find her. Keep reading for more information.
Poet Sues Taylor Swift—But Can't Find Her
Kimberly Marasco, an artist residing in Florida, filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Taylor Swift and her production company last year. This year, she's filed a new lawsuit that includes Taylor's co-writers, Jack Antonoff and Aaron Desner, and Universal Music Group Inc., and Republic Records.
Judge Aileen Cannon actually dismissed Marasco's first lawsuit because the poet failed to serve the lawsuit in a timely manner. It seems like she's having the same problem with this next lawsuit, as she's unable to locate Swift, who is also known for her tight security measures.

Social Media Reactions
Predictably, social media has dragged the poet for not only suing an artist that's known for her original music, but also for her failure to be able to locate the singer to even serve her suit. "Ha!" one person wrote. "The next lawsuit is going to be for using eyeliner and red lipstick...frivolous lawsuits should have consequences."
"People who sued Taylor have always lost, these people need to stop being desperate for money and obtain a career," another person agreed.
"Idk why this is news. It's a nuisance lawsuit," a third person agreed. "A joke."
"Kimberly would try and sue Taylor for breathing if she could," a final fan wrote. "She needs to get herself assessed by a professional at this point."
