Outlandish jean trends have come and gone. We've seen the likes of jeans so distressed that they have more holes than actual material, or Topshop's translucent pair of plastic jeans. That one's hard to top, but Y Project's newest pant trend might be the pinnacle of weird jeans.

There's only so many creative measures you can take with jeans, but Y Project took it to new heights with their "Detachable Button Down Pants." At a whopping $570, these jeans—if you can even call them that—are somehow selling out. We're just as confused as you are. There's literally no butt coverage.

Aaaand there's no coverage in the front of the crotch, either. These jeans look like a stripper's costume gone rogue. The top peice offers the tiniest ounce of coverage around your midsection, and gives the rest of your business a nice breeze. A triangle of adjustable straps connects the pieces of fabric with some hoochy looking rings. If you want even MORE openness in these jeans, you can probably unbotton the bottom pieces! It's party in the front AND party in the back. Unsure how one would style these IRL.

Gigi Hadid busted out a similar pair of Y Project pants, so of this fashion mogul debuted them, this trend must be on point. Who knows, maybe other retailers are taking notes, and this style could be the look of the future!?

If you want to snag a pair of these viral pants for Halloween or any other occassion suitable for crotch-less attire, act fast before they sell out! We might have to pause on jumping onto this trend's bandwagon for the time being, but we would give anything to see someone actually wearing them.
