Wendy’s Customers Are Furious And Threatening To Boycott After Being Served ‘Little,’ ‘Tiny’ Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers: ‘Is That A Slider?’

Wendy’s fans are not happy with the restaurant’s portion sizes lately. “Shrinkflation” has been a commonly discussed issue among fast food lovers in recent years, and Wendy’s is a major culprit. Now, even the burgers we expect to be tiny are becoming comically tiny. Take the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, for example.
A Reddit post in the popular r/shrinkflation subreddit has customers especially upset after one user shared a video showing off an unusually small Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger. The clip shows the visibly tiny burger next to the user’s hand as they say, “You guys, since when did the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers become like… for like literal juniors… for like little tiny babies… how many bites is that for you? Probably two. One if I was hungry. I’m calling the police.” Read what commenters are saying below.
The comments section of this Reddit post is filled with frustration from former Wendy’s lovers who say they’ve noticed shrinking meals. “Is that a slider?! wtf,” one shocked commenter asked. Another joked, “No joke, I got slider buns in my fridge and that is almost the exact same size.” Many agreed that the beloved fast food chain has been cutting portions while keeping prices the same—or even raising them.
One user pointed out the math: “Just a reminder that two of those, a medium fry, and a medium drink all for $8 plus tax… This is going to continue.” Another lamented, “Had one of these the other day. It had so little beef I thought it was spread like peanut butter inside the bun. Incredibly disappointed.” Even Wendy’s larger burgers aren’t safe, apparently: “I went yesterday and got a Dave’s Double which used to be huge and I noticed even that is smaller. Greedy a– companies. Smh.”
