The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

What a way to end the season! On the Teen Mom season finale last night, Farrah finally decided to move to Florida… without Sophia. Find out what made her decide to leave Sophia with her parents and if she has any regrets.

In the end, what really made you decide to leave Sophia with your parents?

As you can see in the last episode, I was leaning more towards Sophia staying with my mom so I could take time to get happy and find myself again. I was depressed at that time.

Was leaving Sophia the hardest decision you’ve ever made?

It was a very hard choice and a big decision. It was a struggle back and forth.

You talked about not being happy in the episode–what was the source of your unhappiness?

As you see in all the episodes, I struggle with my past and the loss of Sophia’s dad. Having to take on so much unexpected responsibility was hard for me.

Do you feel like the tour you took before leaving for Florida gave you closure or just made you more sad?

The tour Sophia and I took of the places her dad and I used to hand out did give me closure and a sense of happiness.

Now that you’re in Florida, do you feel like you made the right decision?

I am certain I made the right choice. I am very happy where I am.

How are you handling being away from Sophia?

Being away from Sophia is very hard. The first couple of days I cried a lot, but I always check in and call her. And I’m keeping my self busy with school, work, and meeting new people in Florida.

How often do you see or speak to Sophia?

I speak to Sophia twice a day–Sophia loves talking on the phone.

Now that the season is over, do you have any regrets?

There is more to my journey–everyone has just seen the start. I have no regrets.

Do you wish you did anything differently?

Honestly, I’ve made the best choices for Sophia’s life and for my life. There are no regrets. I am a great parent and I’m rolling with the struggles and the great moments.
