How effin’ amazing is Sara Lyons’ ‘My Thighs Touch BC They Love Each Other’ print? I don’t have a thigh gap, and I can’t tell you how refreshing and almost comforting it is to see a message of this kind out there on the interwebs. YES, my thighs touch and YES, it’s because they love each other and YES, they like to wear shorts occasionally. But, sadly, it’s become virtually impossible not to feel thigh gap judgement when you’re above a size 6 and trying to wear a pair. Every body is so damn obsessed with thigh gaps they have forgotten that most of us don’t actually have them. And sometimes, when it’s hot as a mother (like, um, July in New York City) us normal girls like to wear something other than full-coverage skinny jeans or giant maxi dresses when everyone else is frolicking about with their legs in the breeze. Not fair!
