The Lastest Classics: Shoes That Are Here To Stay

February 18, 2008 by Bryn

As we mentioned before, there are new classics popping up on the fashion radar. With so many varieties of shoes hitting the stores, it's hard to decipher which styles will become trendy has-beens, and which ones will stand the test of time. Here are our picks of the shoes sure to go down in fashon history.

The Christian Louboutin Peeptoe Pump is a staple on celebrities, socialites, and any fashionable woman who can afford the $710 pricetag. No doubt the signature red sole is a determinant of luxury and class, but we think these Pumps ($275) are just as elegant.

The black boot will always be a go-to style saver. We especially think this Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent Boot (was $620, now $434) in buttery black suede is an instant classic. Try the Demand Black Boot (was $150, now $80) as an alternative.

Ballerina flats have reached iconic status, and for good reason. Yes, theBrigitte Ballet Flats ($74) makes them equally beautiful.

Like it or not, the emergence of these controversial boots are here to stay. They might not be the most flattering footwear, but we have to admit they are ridiculously comfortable. These similar booties by Steve Madden ($80) offer the same comfort factor at almost half the price.
