Part of the reason I follow NYFW religiously is to be in-the-know for the coming season’s trends – but it’s also great for discovering new music. Designers go to great lengths to choose the tunes their models will strut to, and thanks to the miracle that is Shazam, I could identify my favorites as I watched. My 7 faves (thus far!) are all in the slideshow, begging for a listen. Short on time? Make sure to check out Wild Cub (#1 in the slideshow), the band that played live at Rebecca Minkoff. As a Nashville native, they’re one of my local go-tos.
