Reebok Classics are about to be everywhere, thanks to a number of fashion girls, including Gigi Hadid, wearing the 90s shoe in 2018 so far. In fact–the shoes are already sold out on several retailers. Consider this your warning–if you don’t already own a pair, act FAST!
A new Reebok spring campaign featuring Gigi, as well as Ariana Grande, Teyana Taylor and more, is to blame for the frenzy. The just-launched “Always Classic” campaign reminds sneakerheads how much they love brand’s Freestyle Hi, Classic Leather, Club C and Workout Plus. And it seems to be working–stores like Nordstrom can’t keep them in stock.

“Classic isn’t stuck in the past, it’s now and it’s also something that will inspire the future,” Gigi says of the throwback shoes in a campaign video.
The “inspired” new Classic styles include the new Freestyle Hi Muted, a new take on the brand’s self-proclaimed “limitless” high-top sneaker (meaning, there’s no limit to the ways you can wear them). The Freestyle Hi has a signature double strap ankle, as well as perforation which makes them breathable (you really can move in ’em) and come in too many good colorways to count.

The Muted is definitely going to be on every fashion girl this spring–it’s got a Sandstone or Pink soft leather upper, a customized sneaker charm on the laces, a rose gold lace lock and matching eyelets for the straps, and of course, a muted matte finish:

And if Reebok has their way, the shoe will also become a symbol for the women’s movement. “An unstoppable force who fearlessly strives for more, Gigi fronts the Freestyle Hi, a sneaker which changed the face of women’s fitness and reflects Reebok’s longstanding commitment to female empowerment,” Reebok said in a statement.
Other Classic styles from Reebok are also getting a boost. Many colorways of the Classic sneakers are already completely sold-out in Black, White, Grey, Sandstone and Pink on Nordstrom. Trust us–you need a pair of these.
